I would evaluate the decision to add a balcony based on economics and the ability to attract good tenants alone.

Perhaps you can evaluate my plan below and poke holes in it.My thoughts are that it either takes a long time or real estate is just part of the story.

And that cost gets progressively more expensive each year as the insured ages.Understand that in both types of policies, the net amount at risk is going down at the same time that the cost of insurance is going up.
