Do you feel it is better to just go it alone so you don't have to have the issues of a partnership or do the benefits out weight trying to do it all alone?

Not every house can be a good vacation rental.Sorry but no, it is not exactly a dream vacation if the house you have looks just like your neighbor's house back home.

@Vincent Rodriguez You're not dreaming....that's just the reality of SoCal.

It's not because they are making 3% by sending a contract over to a title company/lawyer and are collapsing under the weight of their moneystacks. 

You can have ten houses and one bad renter who doesn't pay and maybe 4 that are always late....end of dream...nightmare stuff.  

This has been a dream of mine since I was 8 years old; I have always dreamed of flipping properties and to fix and hold properties, but have been too scared to start.

We believe it would be a burden.But it is a longstanding dream of mine to endow a struggling charity that I know well, to hand over just as much money to it as I can when I go.
