Its close by commuter rail, its got a lot of potential in the downtown and its getting better, and it has a great underground music/ art scene because artists can actually afford to live there. 

Plus, people like being close to the urban core - and to be able to walk to shops, restaurants, bars, etc - so I would recommend being close to walkable areas like Downtown Tacoma or different business districts in the area that offer the walkable vibe.

This townhome is in Lititz, PA, a small buzzing town with a lot of restaurants, bars, and shopping.
