My own unofficial estimate is around $15K total (5K extra added just in case)I have the extra funds for this, but was planning on using some of my credit cards for a lot of the work, and am a bit annoyed that I'm going to have to use my cash for the repairs!

The tenants can report on one another to you, which might sound annoying, but it's actually very helpful.When you go take a look at one, you can take a quick glance at the other and see if you need the trees trimmed, or that the shingles are loose, or that a dog not on the lease is barking from inside, or that there are more cars in front of the house than people on the lease, etcAnother advantage, and it's not easy or always a good idea, but my best handyman lives in one of them.

Of course I can always go to the municipal court I suppose, but does a easier way exist, perhaps something online :)I know to check wetland or some of the tax lien the NJ state website is a pretty good source, so it feels a bit annoying to physically go to the court just to check this one single item while all the other things are all available online.Btw, anyone can advise if there is other things I need to check before hand before buying a tax deed?

Because it's harder to find landlords who accept pets, pet-owners are more loyal to those who take care of them.All this being said, I am assuredly not a pet owner, and it does annoy me the damage they do the house.

If you are a USAA member and you have a boatload of properties it might be annoying to move them all, but you could do it a little at a time.
