I've got connections as far as trim carpenters to convert an office to finer finishes, however due to the buildings age not sure if you could get it of to an "A" grade status or not....the #'s probably just would not make sense at this point.

Certainly, it would be nice to have some more government efficiency/expense trimming prior to increasing taxes but I think most business people would agree it is time to get Chicago's financial house in order.

We have really high standards due to learning from very skilled craftsman and am very picky but I am realizing that maybe I need to overlook cosmetic things that others might not notice (i.e. correct trim cuts perfect paint lines, ect.).

You may be able to go right over the existing wall, but that will require some adjustments around baseboard/window trim, crown mouldings, and electrical outlets and switches.
