I could just put it in that box of my spreadsheet to account for the expense and then in most other ways, it's the same issues - capital savings, maintenance, vacancy, etc? 

Typically romex and copper wiring was introduced and most systems have been grounded - this will save you on electrical costs. 

We'll have two private beach clubs (most developments in Tulum have none) and amenities at least as good if not better amenities than any other development in town. the great thing is that being close to the beach fits my lifestyle and vacation style so my goals are congruent.

I'm not talking about saving for savings sake, but actively considering how a dollar can reproduce itself so that you can not only have whatever it is you want to buy, but also put more of the reproductions to work making more dollars and still have the original dollar.

For sellers, you mentioned "Marketing", MLS data and photos, etc... look into new AI tools to generate such photos and MLS data for uploading, this will save significant time.
