I find there's always a gold nuggets of information in each one and I go back to listen to a number of them multiple times.

That said, if your contractor only wants to install gold plated materials in a cheaper neighborhood/property that doesn’t work. 

But I'm not sure these deals are as solid gold as he seems to think.

Re: Also, when we did the rebuild on my home, we used a local general contractor who used a manager, and she was worth her weight in gold.  

Especially about banks: they give me the biggest smile when I tell them I want a loan, and then they look at me like they've just realized their gold nugget is really fools gold when I tell them I need to finance a $50k unit, or $35k (70% LTV).

Now Im sure there are true creative finance options, such as the ones @Bill Gulley mentioned that i have never heard of lol,  but his advice is pure gold and Im so glad I stumbled across this forum.

Also the condos in Rivertown/Gold Coast.Im going to fly out for a week to get a sense of the town...any thoughts about the different neighborhoods would really help in giving me some direction.
