Our city has a really active networking community, look out for local events via google or other FB groups.

It certainly breaks down the barriers to entry so that you can spread coins across a wide array of assets and markets. 

you need to be networking, walking neighborhoods, building a team, and learning a market. 

You should come check it out and network with other local investors of all experience levels, ask lots of questions and pay attention to the content provided.
