You can also find real estate investing groups through meetup.com, Facebook, or a Google search.

Our strategy is to find the latter. 

In my search, I've noticed that many positions require proficiency in Yardi.I've been actively looking for effective ways to learn Yardi, but it seems challenging to find suitable training or courses online.

If they are, I would pay them off first.I would invest in a different market(likely bigger market) where you can find reliable contractors or find a PM that will be able to manage the properties.

My working son and has had a hard time finding something because work is in more expensive areas with tons of SF and luxury apartments nothing in small studios.

How do you find one that hasn't started equity growth and now stagnated? 

And that's ok - I am totally fine to weed through hundreds or thousands of pitches to find the small handful of like minds out there, and I am perfectly capable of investing my own capital in the meantime. 

I’d suggest you look at your local market and see if you can find anyone that way.
