Location- Dallas is big city but there are so many sub-markets.

No one can answer questions like this because the strategy depends on the investor's level of interest, financial framework, location, and many other factors.

I'd imagine that it is quite location specific as well, so I'd suggest poking around a bit on HipCamp as if you were a camper, and see what's around you.

In addition, if they withhold rent, it has to be placed with the registry of the court where the property is located.

So, I'm not sure where your condo is located, but STR over a LTR always yields more income.

You can exchange 1 property into multiple properties in locations and any asset class (farm, office, single family, multifamily).
