I'll take any and all advice any of you have, but the two things I'm looking for specifically are: what sites, services, and/or software you use and recommend for sceening and managing tenants?

For bookings, I recommend FF, Airbnb/VRBO (30+ day stays), Zillow, Facebook (can depend on the area), and websites like ALE solutions for insurance placements

If you are doing it just to buy something my answer would be no, but if there is a specific deal that you underwrote that looks like a great deal then yes.Henry asked and brought up great points as well. 

You look for the trustee doing the foreclosure and call their office asking for their status website.

Cities don't play fair when they decide to go after you.One thing I would also suggest you do is look on AirBnB for the specific building you want to buy in. 

I think you have to own them if the people were nice and respectful.One thing I've found is that you have to specifically remind them in the beginning, middle, and the end, that you want to provide a 5-star stay to result in a 5-star review.
