Once that is squared away you'll have more experience to explore investment property. 

 I just started researching the acquisition of self storage properties as an investment.

They included BlackRock, Citadel Securities, Charles Schwab Corp. and Fortress Investment Group.

Once you are in the habit of not spending so much, with no debt in a few years, you will be able to save and invest like crazy!!

Or I would do a cluster of them on separate parcels or investment.

Then you can read a more in-depth book like The Book On Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner or The Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing by Spencer Strauss.2.
