Our city purchased trash and recycling cans with taxpayer funds and is forcing everyone to lease them.  

I also found a number to a local appliance recycle company that claims to pick these things up on their web site.

We taped it back up, threw it in the back of the truck and took it straight to the recyclers, LOL.

Much to my surprise, she dug it out of the garbage stating they recycled them for cash.

I learned all of what I know by doing projects and not by working in an office.Hope that helps, just my two cents.Good Luck, you are starting at a great time your life, you have a long time horizon and can take advantage of several RE cycles over your lifetime as well.

These two mixed commercial buildings happen to have major automotive repair, recycling, and cabinet/granite businesses surrounding them.
