I believe that some women fear the disruption of the "nest building" process so much that they will abandon any attempt to better their situation.

But as I understand it, HELOCs typically have variable rates, and I am looking for as few surprises that would disrupt my leveraged cash flow as possible. 

. ;) Let's say I have $50K that I don't necessarily need to make any return on for 15 years, and I want the least disruption of my current business (least hassle/involvment, but if the return on my time is over say $500/hour, I'd be fine jumping in to resolve any issue) How would you go about investing this? 

Clinton used military action to disrupt his weapons program and then sent in the diplomacy clowns who accomplished nothing - but they gave diplomacy a shot which I can respect to a degree.

However, being in this position before, it's definitely not worth the disruption of life chasing after rent payments.

Instead, I believe that the big creative disruption is in land acquisition and partnering with real estate players to integrate tiny house solutions.

Were as other invsetments as I stated above have no disruption of cash flow at all or cash calls like rentals do but your returns are fixed.. however there is one thing that is certain the 40k homes we speak of or 60k homes we speak of I was funding them for the exact same dollars 2003 and they sell for today.. so if they don't go up in value why buy them.. 

In my opinion, to avoid issues or any service disruption and to ensure habitability, they should have left utilities in landlords name.

In suburban neighborhoods they tend to be disruptive, and once a city gets enough complaints from neighbors about the airbnb limiting their enjoyments of their properties they tend to step in.
