Such as what will the Federal, state and local Governments do to offset it, (some areas take steps to uplift their residents lives, and some areas give only lip service to it steering money to certain things that do little but continue the suffering as a profit center--such as some areas helping the homeless by giving them shopping carts vs really helping them).Also the underlying industry base will play into it, for instance Houston makes chemicals that are used worldwide in other industries, is that a positive or a negative---(and for how long) time will tell.

Sorry, no data......from my view:If one earned money from which to "fix-flip"(unless you have a Gen Contractors lic, have side time... whatever), my opinion, [CAUTION] South Florida is nonsense clown act, (synthetic growth), Irma money is overbuilding / lifting a false R/E data market, and thanks to local tax multipliers are up 1-2 points; only adds to "comfort levels" if looking at SOUTH FL,  Monroe/Miami-Dade / Broward , etc, the East coast of the State has no industry to fund usual and customary lease terms.

Another option for low cost apartment type housing is to make very small units without cooking or bathroom facilities (though a chemical toilet for the privacy conscious might work and wouldn't take up nearly as much room as a conventional one does and cost much less without the plumbing and upkeep).
