If I were to consider an HOA property (which is not the same necessarily as a gated community) I'd want to see a remedy available to owners for harrasement by the sidewalk cops, because every HOA has one.As a group, you might think no one would ever take it upon themeelves to address issues with neighbors.....trust me, there will be a few and they will, in the end, cause trouble.Limiting fence heights may restrict meeting code for a hot tub in a back yard.

Those council member decided to use their power to change the rules for the whole neighbourhood.Now, whether the RFA rules are good for the neighbourhood or bad is a matter for debate, but what struck me the most, was the fact that a neighbourhood council can act as HOA and dictate how thing should be done on your own property.This is a dangerous step and can open the flood gate for other similar decisions.

The unemployed weren't dropped from the counts in those times, now we seasonally adjust 'til the news is improved enough to keep the masses from the gates of the palaces (where unemployment isn't a problem - yet)...
