We've had just regular (Sharp) panels on a rack on our roof, since 2012.  

The same way that even if I have $50k available credit on my credit card and only owe $10, the lender won't assume that I am going to have to pay the amount that would be required if I racked that card to it's max and missed a payment.

Is it just to rack up as much single and multi-family units as you can now, or is there a less obvious way to take advantage of the market moving forward?

If you use them to by gas and pay off immediately, there will be activity showing but you won't be racking up any debt.

You can buy in parts 12 cent type wooden dowels and tape.
