Listened to this podcast with Hunter Thompson and Reed Goosen on a plane ride recently and it touches a bit on what sort of person you need to become to attract amazing mentors.

Why do people think they get a free ride if things don't go there way.

Considering how crazy and unpredictable the stock market has been the last couple of weeks with the recent correction and subsequent roller coaster ride we are happy to be able to provide a more stable vehicle for our investors to grow their money while also continuing to add to our portfolio and grow ourselves as investors.

I'm not an active market investor (what a fun ride it has been today for my mutual funds and 401k), but I dont know that I would buy quite yet. 

How much do you know about pricing in that area and how will you know you aren't getting taken for a ride on all the sub-contracting where the contractor can make extra money?

If it is a good deal, and you are concerned, just reserve more to ride out any slowdown with leasing.

@Todd Dexheimer The only thing I can imagine is the noise from ambulances (maybe) aside from that it seems like if the rest of the area is nice the units may come at some kind of premium.Things like eliminating a commute, especially when you work weird long hours.Ease of response if you're a doctor or nurse on callEasy access to care if you're someone who anticipates visiting the ER (fall risk or heart condition) and potentially eliminating the need for ambulances (I work in insurance, those things are expensive to ride in).I may just be new to all of this but that's me just spitballing about what some of the positives may be.

Is this normal for Texas or am I being taken for a ride?

My daughter told me about a business owner that rides his bike to work and takes the transit bus home to his expensive house.

We only put 5% down when we purchased the house so we we’re hoping to ride the appreciation train out of our PMI with this effort as well.
