The man currently living there is a retired wheelchair bound vet who always pays on time and so they have never felt right raising the rent as hes only living on his Army paycheck.House 3. rents for $800/m the loan will cost me $14,000 as a down payment and $6,000 closing costs, and should cash flow approx $225/m after mortgage payment are made.House 4.

The apartment would most likely be classified as a condominium in the US; individual owners and renters of single family homes/units in a multi-story, multi-unit building, with security, facilities, and common areas.To the point: My landlord has informed me he is raising the rent by 8.5% upon contract renewal in October, but read on.Dubai has government regulations concerning rental increases.

I am also concerned that at that point new HOA might have to raise the fees significantly or charge lumpsum to the condo owners based on something that might come up.

Yes, that also means we are leaving some money on the table in the short term - but we do raise our rents every year by 5-10% and when turnover happens we take them to market rate.
