(It'll most likely be nondeductible personal interest.)On the other side of the coin, if you get a cash advance against a credit card and use that cash to make a down payment on a rental property, then an allocable portion of your credit card interest will be "rental" interest on Sch E.Check out IRS Publication 535 for more info.
