Although it is harder to rent during the holidays, unless you are in a cold weather climate, I wouldn't worry much about the time of year.

I think it depends on the climate.

I know the current economic climate is not the best for getting rent reductions, but the idea is that renters can negotiate by agreeing to a longer lease or a larger deposit to give the landlord more security.

Right to work state-no state income taxes-tremendous business climate- Tort reform ( Loser pays in lawsuits!)

Not sure how anyone could build new in this climate in my area.

Also, it seems like you'd really need to do your homework as to local weather (hurricanes) political climate, etc.

So,myself, family, and others question the need for another piece of paper...I am going to seriously look into opportunities in Texas, I've always wanted to live in a warmer climate and I enjoyed my time while I was traveling in Texas.

Tracing back and fixing broken chains of ownership as a investor in notes and mortgages is not that much of a challenge as the public might think.In today's climate some firms specialize (like ours) in dealing with files with less than adequate paperwork.
