It does give me comfort to know that if he's in a pinch again, and doesn't get bailed out, that those kids will have a place to go.Oh, and we found out this weekend when we got rent that he just had cable installed a couple of weeks ago (we found out b/c the cable company disconnected the other tenants satellite dish when they did the install, and they had to pay $50 for the dish company to come out and fix it).Speechless.

Basically, it allows for easy transition of the account from owner to renter and back, however, ultimately the owner is responsible for any unpaid bills.  ...The problem with this arrangement happens when the tenant does the disconnect while still living there.

Such faucets should be made ready for winter by turning off the water supply to that faucet on the inside of the property, then any hose being used should be disconnected from the faucet and the faucet should be opened on the outside to drain the residual water that might be present in the pipes.
