Good bad idea before I depart - have you considered an owner occupied option?

At $1500/month might as well rent long term for maybe $1300 and just save all the expenses and be ahead.I'm happy to answer any questions about Dallas condos or other options if you have any. 

Yeah for sure, I meant to say that buying in the U.S. you might be able to self manage if you want but international you probably don't have the option but I didn't express that super well.

Cutting our losses and selling was difficult, but it was the best option given our financial woes.I’d love to hear from others—has anyone else faced something this unexpected during a BRRRR or flip?

Definitely an option in PA, FL you may be limited to 75%.

Your opportunity is also what's difficult, having virtually unlimited options :)  

Turbotenant, Avail and Buildium are other great options too. 

Northern NJ has options as well, but MTR works better in a lot of areas because there is demand.

Their other option is to move out and pay $1,200 somewhere else.Don't just think about cashflow.
