The bamboo looks nicer, but had a lot more issues (probably due to how it was installed).When the wood started to shift naturally due to variations in temperature and humidity, cracks between joints started becoming more pronounced.

You have to have the flooring in the house for at least a few days to aclimate to the indoor temperature and humidity.Good luck!

Anyone every implement a household practices contract... for example quite hours after 10pm - 6am, designated parking spots, house temperature has been a big one in my house hack (some complain about it being to cold when the thermostat is at 70).

I know there's laws/guidelines on the temperatures it can be set too, but outside of that is there anything else I might be missing?

(Usually yes because with higher efficient appliances comes lower stack temperatures that don’t draft properly because the chimney is to big by today’s standards and codes).

I don't know what kind of heater this is but electric heat is expensive in our area and poorly functioning units can sometimes draw more energy, if the thermostat on a unit doesn't work or the heater doesn't sense temperature correctly you can have a situation where it is always on drawing electric.

To consume excess heating fuel, they just crank up the thermostat temperature and open some windows for "fresh air" :)

You typically will need to install four separate units (one for each flat) and if they are multi-floored, your local zoning may require temperature zoning (separate control of each floor).You will of course need someone that's certified to to work with refrigerants to charge the units up after installation.Will these be heat too or just AC?
