I've never seen one story climate control self storage ever. you need to build vertical for economies of scale. most of the ones I've seen are vertical and infill. 

I could scale 10X in the states if I did not have to dedicate my efforts to the properties in the island.

Maintain proper records - Contracts, Settlement Statements, Agreements, Promissory Notes etc.Additionally, you can track income and expenses consistently, using software or spreadsheets.As you scale, if bookkeeping isn't fun for you, consider hiring a bookkeeper for a couple hundred bucks per month.

That need could outweigh their desire to protect your best interests.Not saying there investment here is a bad thing, per se, just raising this point so that this one element of the deal doesn’t tip the scale to you investing if you otherwise might not.

Good advice above- you'll get way more traction and scale with property management companies.

We decided to find PM to help us scale our business to a fourth state.

Any guidance on how this works would be great.As a follow-up to this, once we move next year I would like to scale my portfolio very quickly.
