Morris and Memphis invest could not be more polar opposite in their product and philosophy in investing.. do read the Morris threads..

They could be of the Dave Ramsey philosophy.

There is ALWAYS a trade-off.As I get ready to embark on my first purchase, I found myself losing the guiding philosophy when debating all the counter arguments.

This was not always my philosophy.

As far as protecting yourself, I would be a little leery and cautious without knowing the neighbor and their philosophy about money. 2 good people and have an ugly disagreement because they view the value of money differently. 

I’ve heard the grant cardone interviews on a couple different podcasts and love his philosophy and want to dive into a larger unit complex...but definitely want to learn more and do more due diligence before I do.

It reinforces much of my investing philosophy to continue to buy and invest whether the market is high or low.
