I try not to ghost them and always tell all applicants when someone is selected so they can continue their search.  

Do not be one of the people who wait and hope that rates will continue to fall into next year.

Anyway, going back to the first point, any taxable gain becomes moot as long as you continue to exchange your properties.

Hi - This is a pseudo-continuation of my previous post with purchasing a house.

Ensuring that you have, and continuously maintain, a safe property for guests, is barely even an afterthought for most STR investors.

I expect economic activity to slow, rate cuts to deepen, housing activity to accelerate and USD purchasing power to continue weakening.  

I know rates have dropped a decent amount in the last week or 2, but based on what i am seeing/hearing about rates likely to continue dropping, wondering if i should hold out??

While we hope rates will continue to trend downward, we can only work in the moment and with current rates.
