To all my Kansas City investors…how are you feeling about the real estate market heading into the new year?

I get more bookings from airBnB then from any other OTA yet AirBnB is the OTA I have the least positive feeling towards.I hope the new STR owners/hosts realize the risk they take if they choose to list on a single OTA.I think you have a good reason to follow what you believe.

It also feels like a little bit of analysis paralysis on your side... lots and lots of reading.  

Don't get me wrong, cheerleaders are essential - they make you feel good, are always there to lift you, and cheer you on no matter what.

I feel bad for the pitbulls, they need to go somewhere but the owners also need to be responsible with them and as long as you make that clear then you shouldn't have a problem.

I know it can feel like uncharted waters at first.

A C class neighborhood in the rust belt might look like a D class in another area because the rust belt has older housing stock and has a different look and feel to neighborhoods. 

I look at foreclosures.comOut of the 3 stages I am definitely not ready for an auctionpreclosure / short sales:- I need to research how to take over a deed / title- need to prepare how to do door knocking (I have a sales background and feel confident in dealing with an emotional conversation about someone’s home) - there IS a window of like 4 weeks that I need to prepare for (have my finances in order) to then bid before it goes to auction?
