The market here has been pretty strong, especially in growing areas like Charlotte.

When I look at townhomes for rent that 1850/mo seems pretty competitve. 

I totally agree, so many properties there are new and beautiful that there needs to be *something* to really stand outYou make a really good point re: no plan B, and in general I’ve seen the home values in that market depreciating (assuming because of the boom / growth in supply in the last couple years).I might be wrong here but I assumed that a general trade off between vacation market and metro areas would generally be that strs in vacation markets don’t really have a plan BI’m pretty split at the moment, but really appreciate your thoughts

That is pretty significant particulary in an environment where interest rates are dropping.

Generally, the events are pretty great and no one really trying to "sell" you.

The pictures from the zillow link are pretty good already, but after looking at the airbnb it shows how much room there is for creating exemplary photos above the zillow listing.

I would agree that the inventory is pretty tight in both cities.

that's a pretty big negative cashflow.

The market value on the other property is pretty stagnant and fluctuates between $119k and $125k.
