I’ve seen data for a couple mature vacation rental markets and that 2007-2009 era barely affected any of them some even grew in tourism, travel expenditures, and lodging.

But I grew up in Delaware going to the beach every summer, and still prefer the beach if I had to pick my favorite vacation spot.  

I grew up remodeling with my father. 

I grew up in Hamburg, ventured out west for eight years and moved back to WNY up in Wilson in 2017.

I grew up in Portland and would love to purchase property there with an ADU or potential to create one, and AirBnB one of the units or both. 

I am asking people to share what entity they started with, and if their end goals effects thar choose of it it grew into a different entity 

We are fairly familiar with the area since my husband grew up in the next town over and we both grew up in rural areas of Iowa, but I'm trying to set some expectations since I've been a Property Manager in Denver for 7+ years (so a sliiiightly different market).

We met when I was looking for a property manager for a 3-family and the relationship grew from there.
