As you can tell i am trying to grasp the concept before paying to take a seminar/class for about a $1k.I have been driving around and has found a couple of houses that was in pretty bad shape to come back a month or so later to see someone fixed them up and either sold or rent out.Another question, should I just go ahead and pay to find out how to do wholesaling properly.thank you kindly,

These folks built property EMPIRES under very adverse conditions (WWI, WWII, Great Depression etc).The point is, folks came here with limited money, few connections, an unfamiliar environment, a shaky grasp on the language, and sometimes, not much education, and in most cases, limited real estate knowledge.

I end up with a little instant equity from the rehab (which would likely need to stay in the deal post-refi) and then a rehabbed property that I can rent out.I feel like there could be something viable here, but I feel it's just out of my grasp/understanding and that I'm missing some crucial components to the possible deal.
