In the future, if the only red flag is a house fire and hotel situation, you can always make a public records request on the former address at your police and/or public safety administration in your city/county.

Start looking for ways to make more money and cut on expenses.

Meaning the grass is not cut and nice looking, its a smaller older hasn't been updated gas station, its combined with an 18 wheeler parking lot. 

I have been receiving letters informing me that my "VA guaranteed loan has been tagged for inclusion in our VA IRRRL program".I called the number on one of the letters (I've received many), and the call cut out shortly after speaking with someone, so it seems a little sketchy.
