I am about to pull the trigger on a condo in Pasadena, CA and upon digging into the financials of the HOA discovered that they are funded at about 30% of what the third party HOA analysis firm would consider a full reserve.

Now I'm just trying to figure out the interaction of owning and operating an investment firm and working for a Broker.

It is my firm belief that homeowners do not know how drastically their bottomline is affected by selling with these unethical companies.BEFORE YOU SELL WITH ANY COMPANY ASK THEM "HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I WALK AWAY WITH?"

You just have to be firm on the issues and with any rules fairly enforce.  

I know our firm starts to modify standard emails and calendaring features we send to clients right around the 2nd week of October every year to address this very issue.
