Seattle and puget sound are very well positioned and on our way to becoming a global player as a region.  

Out of high school I cut my teeth in the Transportation industry both global and domestic, following the footsteps of my Grandfather who was well respected in the business.

Finally, much of the Canadian market, and I understand that is global however it offers a unique perspective, has not experienced a correction in 15 years.

Eventually a recession will come, if it is global that could help otherwise things may not look much different overall for these global techs.

These acquisitions definitely evened the playing field based on the global product both companies are able to provide.I do however think that Airbnb will be the leader until it becomes standard for people to use these platforms during travel then anything could happen.
