It's in the banks' best interests to say that they give owner occupants a first shot at properties -- good for communities, neighborhood stabilization, etc. -- so I think they're probably here to stay.

The free leads you will get as a newbie will likely be the long shots and scraps nobody wants to put time into.Most of those never amount to a closed sale but some do.I remember way back when I did residential a trick was to go to new home subdivision developments and preview houses of different lots.
