@Tobias Falzone Would you say it better to maybe look into rental property in Folsom versus for say Air bnb properties in South Lake Tahoe.

They told me a lot about what was going on in the unit and of the relationship the tenants were having (alleged illegal activity which I was also told about by neighbors).

@Maha Ahmed Looks like lake Montebello, I doubt you are looking at 2 unit comps.

I would look into more south OC in Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and Aliso Viejo with pretty amazing schools still but with slightly more affordable rents.

However now I plan to buy a property (basically to save on my rent and hopefully appreciation).I work in SLU and I have been looking properties in Queen Anne , Greenwood , Green lake , Ballard area.

We are a ways off from Social Security age.We have not decided where we may move, but have been thinking about the Lake Isabella area.

Rents are typically higher around here but on the flip side, the taxes and competition seem to be very high as well, specifically in the cities close to the lake (Lakewood, Rocky River, Bay Village, Westlake).
