How do you feel this is right though yes hes letting us out of our lease however it clearly states a landlord has to make the home habitual, this I feel he has neglected, all he said is hes coming over putting a rent sign back out the house reaps of mustiness & other odors that no matter how good you clean its still there & how is it right that we are out security deposit on another home.

It is perfectly reasonable to require handlers to clean up after their animals that urinate or defecate in the common areas, and to require that no offensive odors emanate from their residence.

I'm in the south and daily temperatures are in the 80's so I'm slightly concerned about heat and humidity leading to mold or a foul smell.

Wood is very porous and will hold that odor for a long, long time...
