We use 2 sets of finished a "warm" and a "cool" the warm has espresso cabinets and oil rubbed bronze finishes, the "cool" has brushed nickel finishes and white cabinets.

And perhaps more importantly lenders like to make loans to a client in an otherwise static environment - nothing else going on but that loan.   

Something I have used that turned out great and rediculously cheap is Brushed Aluminum flashing for roofs glued on the wall tacked with roofing nails below countertop and behind the bottom of the top cabinets.  

Static investments like private placements or single long term note investments are well handled by a self-directed IRA custodian (generally a "trust company").  

That's because, in my opinion, looking at something static like a "home value" is only one piece of the equation.  

However this won't work because there are protruding ceramic soap dish and tooth brush holders hanging off the wall now, and I think a mirror at full length means it will be sandwiched between the wall and sink, it will most likely crack as I tighten and mount the sink against the wall...Plus it will be a big hassle to cut the holes underneath for the one drain, two supply lines and two sink mounting holes.

This works well for assets that are more static in nature such as shares of a privately held company.Advisors/Facilitators establish self-directed plans that provide checkbook control.  

Something to say, "as a baseline, this is how much a 3 bed/2 bath should cost", and it's part of this zone that our program thinks should statically hold a standard deviation of values for other houses? 

When we met her to look at the property we told her, if you accept this offer then you can put the paint brush down and walk away. 

Sure, you just rehabbed and repairs could be lower for a while, but vacancy and CapEX should always remain static. =)
