A college rental is possible.

Now our driver was to have a student rental for our daughter, but I think the model worked fairly well, other than we had a few other criteria that a female college student who was also our daughter required.

Despite high taxes, properties for college students are very lucrative.

I still have friends in college and my girl friend still has two more years of schooling for her master's degree which makes finding tenants fairly easy.

I had never built a house before, I had helped my uncle frame a house, during breaks from college.

So I am college student in Pensacola and am wondering if there is anyone nearby who could give me some advice on the market down here.  

I am currently renting in Seattle but considering buying an investment property in Bellingham near WWU or Whatcom commjnity college.

I recently graduated college and started my career as a mechanical engineer and have recently decided that while I love my job I don't want to work for the rest of my life, and real estate investing makes the most sense to me in order to gain financial freedom before I turn 60.I have been reading a ton of real estate books and discovered the bigger pockets book on rental property investing which gave me a great introduction to all the topics and possibilities in real estate.

I also pushed really hard to buy my first property this past summer, a student-rental that I would house hack in as I'm a sophomore in college.
