I have done some research on this matter found that "Foreign National Mortgages" do exist for foreign visitors wanting to buy property in the USA. 

I am actively invested in both.However, if you want to just buy and own your own property, we can help with that if you are interested in anything in Eastern Idaho (Idaho Falls, Island Park, Driggs, Pocatello, Rexburg, etc).

But, you may also find a national mortgage broker who can find the right fit for you as well.The bottom line is that I believe your plan is very doable.

Here is a question, is there any market were ADUs have recently been allowed that rents did not go up higher than the national average?
