Books such as Vagabonding, 4 Hour Workweek, Lonely Planet, etc. as well as friends of mine who've done it say you can do this for $1500 per month and experience everything and not worry about a thing income-wise.

I find it interesting how if I work a 60 hour work week she comments how nice it is I am working to support us, when I mentioned my goal of wanting to buy 50 rentals it is I am worried that you are obsessed with making money.

I have been working at a local commercial real estate brokerage for over a year and have my NYS real estate license.My real estate investing goals involve building as passive an income as I can manage (I'm not completely sold that there is a "Four-hour Work Week" out there, but I do agree with a lot of the ideas Tim Ferris put forth in his book).

If you put the right systems in place (think 4 hour work week) and you won't ever get a call and maybe have to put in an hour or two each week making sure the systems are running properly.
