There are a lot of angles to this story plus the lawsuits and that never bodes well for investors.   

@Mic SalvadorThis can vary widely depending on what market you in, how extensive the rehab is, and how you are financing. 

At the ends of the buildings as I posted above, count the ribs which are in 1 foot increments.  30 rib wide building is a 30 footer. 

I can now see how the those wide gaps in my plan/idea can get closer together and be possible 

In general I'm saving for repairs to the property, but we all know that this covers a wide spectrum.

There are many angles to make far more money thru your housing, versus investing somewhere else.

We're planning to market to small families like ours so we're hoping that angle works out for us.

So that information is not country wide it only works in specific states.

Go with a base about 2 feet wide or so,  all around, then lift out with your shovel, maybe put on a tarp and slide them where needed..
