My good buddy from college wasn't so lucky, he got jumped by a Grizz out fishing one day on the Russian River, didn't have time to draw and the bear chewed his face off (he survived just barely but lost his eyesight, sense of smell, entire face and part of skull, spent a year in the hospital undergoing many surgeries, etc.).

This is germane because many municipalities have occupancy limits and the landlord needs to know so that that he/she (and by proxy, the tenant) is in compliance with code enforcement.You can also remind the applicant that all occupants aged 18+ must fill out an application and undergo background checks.Between these two bits of information, you can get a good idea of the family composition.
