If someone had an "event" in their life (illness, divorce, etc) then we may be willing to accept that, but if someone has had their vehicle repoed, they have items in collections, and a history of late payments, we'll pass.

This is a great example of how some people are too inexperienced or ill-suited for managing their own rentals.

Make sure you have your paperwork in place though to prevent ill-feelings or misunderstandings.

I'm sure he had certain sensitive information easily accessible to anyone with ill intent and malice.
