Its all about properly assessing the value of asset and the talent of the team working on the project.

As a part of management for a Homebuilder at my day job that will close 500+ houses this year, I know the insane amount of teamwork that goes into that type of business volume.

There are many valuable aspects I learned as well, like consulting principles,  negotiating,  teamwork, and time management.However,  if you are a budding entrepreneur and need specific skills, I don't know if spending so much time in an entire MBA program is best for your growing business.  

Our CM team works flat rate, our incentive is to fight or eliminate change orders, CO's make us look bad to client.Getting multiple bids a good practice either way.
