Just the other week I was giving a tour to a potential Canadian investor, and they were shocked at how quickly a street goes from mid/high-end to....well, not as desirable.

It can be anything from the guy down the street using his 401(k) to lend or it can be a well established business that has a lot of funds to deal with.

It’s on a quieter street, low income area.

I than thought it was tenants, all the "what if's"; what-if they have a fire, what-if there is a shooting, dead body, drug raid, break-in, squatters, feces art, etc etc etc.....   

But the likelihood of success with that depends on the specific street.

if you are going to do things like include utilities, or have an off street parking spot, other amenities etc, there's no reason in my mind you couldn't "charge a premium" for a premium unit/service. 

In residential (1-4 unit), you are hamstrung by what your neighbors property sold for down the street.  

It's not what I would call a super rough, probably different street by street, and would most likely depend on the neighbors right around the property. 

With all of these crypto-currencies, which one is going to 1)be accepted by the world-wide banking industry, 2)be accepted by the regular man on the street that wants to buy some gas at a gas station, groceries, clothes, etc.

Community water, and electric are at the street.
