Hello All, I am not sure if there is a rule of thumb to how much a design should cost but I received an estimate of $23K for Civil engineering work (site plan, storm drainage plan, site grading, soil erosion & utility plan), $25k for  Architectural and structural and $11K for MEP for 12 units townhouse (2 bed and 2.5 bath) on a slab.

I think I will call fair housing and ask them directly just to be sure. she had a large sticker on her refrigerator that was a picture of her son, and I picked it up and the spot underneath the magnet was significantly whiter than the rest of the fridge.

If your yard is mud you may be able to send a soil sample for testing, probably several points around the yard, and they will tell you do you need to add sand, or loam, or manure, or ground up sea shells, et cetera to your dirt to make it Drain better.

I would make sure if it was installed in or above a finished space that it had a pan underneath it in case of a failure to eliminate/reduce possible damage.

Home depot/lowes sells mold test kits you can use once the basement is dried out.Once you have the basement dry, the next order of business is to figure out the cause(s) of the flooding, and hopefully address those causes to prevent future floods.There are multiple potential reasons for your flooding--it could be ground water rising up from underneath the house, it could improper drainage around the house, it could be cracks in the foundation or slab, it could be water coming in through the window wells, it could be all of those things, or it could be something else entirely.
