There was a guy on BP who tried to get one going down by Colorado Springs awhile ago called Bonsai Village and got as far as buying the land, but could never get permission due to NIMBY neighbors  and it got stalled in legal red tape until the  land eventually ended up being foreclosed on and turned into open space.

Aloha, I just moved to Colorado Springs in September from Kona and have to agree.

I spoke to lenders in Colorado and in Idaho, both said it can be done. 

One of the interesting trends in rentals around here (Colorado Sprngs) is multi-generational.

I have been thinking about my multifamily strategy using the VA loan in Colorado Springs, and the numbers just aren't working.

Most recently, I worked with a client out here in Colorado that let their parade of homes house (from 25 years ago) in a gated community literally fall to pieces; mold between window panes, water infiltrating the kitchen due to lack of roof repair, patio pavers crumbling apart, downspout misplacements that caused water infiltration into the living room....just a mess.
