We still find buyers (and renters) that like open to a degree but want / need the office space for remote or hybrid work arrangements.When dealing with a market that does not have huge spreads on properties, one needs to define what is really important versus what is nice to have and see if the math works.

For example, the FHA will all 100% financing on a purchase anywhere in the country, not just in the disaster area, for someone residing in a disaster area at the time of the disaster, whether they were a homeowner or renter.

The latter would be very difficult to acheive as class A renters are HIGHLY unlikely to move into class C locations.

I'm also thinking that if you are just getting your first credit card it may take you a year or two to build up some credit in the US to get loans.I don't think I would want to invest at all over here in the UK because I've seen first-hand how much worse it is and how "renter happy" it is over here.

Of course, all channels can work.. it’s just that certain ones might be better for your situatoin right now.Since your Charlotte mortgage is higher, renting by the room can spread that burden across multiple renters.
