Post '08' people had the luxury to analyze for "cheap" vs the pre-'08' pricing and feel a sense of security in there current price acquisitions. 

Or buy a 5bed/3bath house, live in the primary suite and rent the other spaces out.

I suspect it follows suit..

We’re really best suited for those high income earners out there with strong investment experience and cash positions to literally take the reigns and create a strong cash flow product and tax write off for them with minimal time spent on their part.

I recommend outlining your financial goals and definitely exploring work transfers to determine what suits you best.

I'm not sure about the potential for liability in a wrongful death suit if somebody is injured or killed in the fire, but definitely would not want to find out personally, nor would I want to live with that on my conscience.  

I am primarily hosting traveling medical personnel because there is a lot of demand for these professionals in our area and because my units are suited to their needs.

You might be able to have it considered as a mother in law suite.

Here in mid-west flyover country, rents are still creeping up and almost all the development has been luxury rentals (mostly by Redwood).

My first property was a duplex, and then a year or so later she bought her house, and we moved in together living in MIL suite basement and rented out the rest of the house.
